Important Update: Tariff Surcharges Effective Immediately

Since January, we have intentionally delayed responding to the volatile market fluctuations caused by the ongoing Global Trade War and the subsequent Tariffs resulting from it. This decision, while costly to Sumitomo, was made to shield our customers from abrupt pricing changes and maintain stability.

However, recent announcements from the Federal Government indicate that these tariffs will be both long-lasting and far-reaching. As a result, effective immediately, Sumitomo will implement tariff surcharges on:

• All newly quoted opportunities
• Existing Applicable Blanket Agreement Items

We understand the disruption this may cause and want to assure you that we have postponed this action for as long as was financially feasible. Enclosed with this message is a detailed Tariff Surcharge Schedule by Product Brand to help you plan accordingly.

If you have any questions or need further clarification, please contact your local SMA District Sales Manager. We understand that this is a fluid situation. If the tariffs are postponed or reduced, SMA's prices will follow suit.
