East Texas Manufacturing Alliance Career Day
Over the past few years, interest in the manufacturing industry has increasingly waned. The East Texas Manufacturing Alliance (ETMA), was created to inform the community about the availability of careers in the manufacturing industry. LUFTEX Gears, along with other members of ETMA, spent February 12th educating and exposing local high school students about Manufacturing careers in the Lufkin and Nacogdoches area.
LUFTEX Gears employees were included in the Integrated Machining and Electrical Operations presentation. This presentation included a brief history of the company, along with the company products and careers.
