A good relationship can last forever! There is a gold mine that has around 12 agitators that use Hansen reducers for their operations, which is an ideal option for this type of application. However, the only problem is that the installation was done more than 20 years ago, and many replacement parts are no longer available when they begin to fail. To solve this issue, different options were offered that could fulfill the same task. These options included staying within the Hansen line or trying an equivalent Paramax.

After conducting a cost-benefit analysis, they decided to go with a solution that used Paramax, which not only turned out to be more economical but also eliminated the pulleys. This resulted in a long-lasting application that was less prone to failures and had greater torque at the output. After testing the initial equipment, they decided to purchase another one for the same type of application.
