Sara Zimmerman Elected as New Chair of PTDA Manufacturer Council

CHICAGO, IL—Sumitomo Drive Technologies is elated to announce that Sara Zimmerman, Vice President of Customer Experience and Product, has been elected Chair of the Manufacturer Council for the Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA).

Sara has been a dedicated member of PTDA since 2019 where she actively participates in various committees, including the End Customer Needs Committee and the Women in Industry Subcommittee. Her extensive involvement and commitment to advancing the Power Transmission industry has positioned her as a leader in the field.

In her newly elected role, she will serve as a vital liaison between the Manufacturer Members of PTDA and the organization's Board of Directors, ensuring that their concerns and insights are effectively communicated. "Our volunteers bring years of expertise, fresh ideas, and a strong commitment to advancing our industry," Sara stated.

Zimmerman has spent over 25 years committed to manufacturing excellence at Sumitomo Drive Technologies. In her role as Vice President of Customer Experience and Product, she leads the management team dedicated to front-end support and overall customer experience.
