Saving Production Time with a Quick Turnaround

We received a request on a Saturday morning for an expedite of a Cyclo unit for a forest product customer. We contacted them to confirm details and learned the mill was down and they needed a new unit to get back running before Monday.

Our team coordinated with staff and built a new Cyclo unit for the request. By around 1:30 pm, the gearbox was loaded into a pickup truck for quick shipping. The customer received the unit Saturday at 9:30pm, and the unit was installed and running by 11PM. The customer was happy and the mill has been running smoothly since. By doing a weekend service, they save the entire day of production that was worth $30,000 for that day.
