In 2002, Sumitomo (SHI) Cyclo Drive China Ltd. established the Songjiang Assembly and Aftersales Service Center in Songjiang District, Shanghai. It performs the assembly of certain reducers and gearmotors and the aftersales service of various product lines. In 2007, the Shanghai Songjiang Factory was then formally established, with increased product assembly and repair capabilities, providing better services for the Chinese market.
